I've always said that computer programmers must have a great... but sometimes distorted... sense of humor. They seem to make their work less boring by inserting private jokes in all the words and terms of computer-ese!

Well, the people behind the scenes, who are in charge of this website, are no exception. Squidoo has a strange sort of language all its own.

This is an easy-to-use way to write FREE one-page websites, of variable length, with many different optional sections.
Their name for a webpage is a "lens". (I'm not sure if I've ever seen a reason for that term!)

Members write lenses about an incredible number of topics!
There's probably a lens about practically anything you can imagine... or never even dreamt about in your wildest dreams that you'd ever see a website about!

OK. So can writing a lens help you with MLM lead generation for your MLM home business?

YES.
There is online social networking power in a well written Squidoo lens.
Members read other people's lenses in numerous topic groups and can contact the lenswriter.
And search engines rank Squidoo lens pages pretty well, so people find them when doing online searches.

The only drawback is that they've banned topics like multilevel marketing, so you need to write about a topic related to your MLM product (not about the MLM product or MLM business opportunity itself) in order to interest your reader to follow you to your network marketing business and/or website.

But... it's free... it's easy... and you might be really good at it!
