Looking for Self Improvement and Motivation ?
One-third of my visitors to this page come directly from Google or another search engine. The others are browsing my website already.
So there's a 1-in-3 chance that you are not interested in network marketing, and are simply looking for help with self improvement and motivation.

No problem.
Why?
Because network marketers find help with this in the same places as anyone else.
Same books, same authors, same seminars, etc. (see below)

I never saw so many self improvement resources, success quotes,
self improvement quotes, and motivational words before I started following the teachings of the gurus in network marketing... and I already had a pretty large library of self help books, tapes, CD's, and e-books.

This surprised me more than anything else about network marketing.

"Why are these issues be so ubiquitous in the MLM business?", I asked.

I think there are a number of reasons...

• A majority of network marketers are female, and for women self improvement is pretty natural, in my experience. They aren't so egotistical as to think that they know everything already.
• Self improvement and motivation are important for career and business life in general... especially for entrepreneurs and the self-employed. After all you don't have a boss telling you what to do, so you need to be in charge of yourself.
• Network marketing attracts people who want to help others to succeed. These are the same personality types that are always striving for the best in themselves.

Successful network marketers know...

• what they don't know
  
• that there are things that they never heard of that would be helpful to know
  
• that there are things they can relearn in a better way.
• that the more they learn, the better they can lead

Why?
Because the definition of achievement includes self-initiated effort. And achievement is our goal in network marketing... that elusive MLM success that we SO believe in, that we sometimes suffer so much in pursuing, but is SO worth it all once we get there!

MLM success is hard to achieve unless you develop a personal development plan.

What is personal development?

Any aspect of your life can be the subject of your personal development... and it can help your network marketing business when you improve any of them.
An example personal development plan might include basic business knowledge, emotional wellness, interpersonal skills, family life, spirituality, meditation, self esteem building, etc.

Actually, success in network marketing leads to improved self esteem for distributors. In particular, high teen self esteem can be a real bonus for children who are allowed to be involved in many of the components of their parent's MLM home business. One of my network marketing companies recognizes this self improvement and motivation benefit of the business and welcomes their distributors' children to all of their events.
