Forced Matrix Network Marketing Compensation Plans

Forced Matrix network marketing compensation plans... or sometimes more simply called the Matrix plan... outlines the number of MLM distributors you are permitted to sponsor on each of a defined number of levels.

The basic details of the structure of any particular company's Matrix plan are described with numbers, in terms such as 3 x 5, 2 x 12, etc., and drawn as a rectangle or box.

This type of plan can benefit new distributors, since their sponsor can help them to fill their matrix.
This is the type of detail that you need to consider in choosing what will be the best MLM compensation plan for YOU.

Here's how it works, in theory:
Once you fill the "frontline" (first level) of your matrix, you "spill over" into your frontline's matrix, helping them to grow their frontline.
In other words, your "second line" is the same as your frontline's frontline. And you both receive some amount of commission on the sales of the distributors in that level.

This is similar to the Binary Compensation Plan, where one of your "legs" is the same as one of your sponsor's two legs, and you both benefit from the sales and recruiting efforts of the downline in that leg.

However, this "I'll do your work for you" feature is often hyped in order to convince people to sign on as distributors. There will always be some other requirement that you must meet... some actual work, not unreasonably... in order to qualify to make any money, regardless of how much your upline fills you matrix for you.
